Founded in 2011 by Laura and Jim Melvin, Careful with the China prides itself on being a different kind of moving company. Careful with the China specializes in receiving, delivering and installing commercial projects. It is the quality of our people that makes us stand apart from the rest.

Laura Melvin is a Greensboro native and founded Careful With The China in 2011. She is married to Jimbo and has two beautiful daughters, Caroline and Izzy. Under Laura's leadership, Careful With The China has developed into the premier move management company in Greensboro. In her spare time, Laura enjoys cooking, playing golf and spending time with family and friends.

Jim Melvin transitioned from a career in politics to the construction world and focused on business development, logistics, and estimating and growing businesses on from an operational level for over 20 years. Jim brought with him the knowledge and logistical skills we needed to begin offering moving and delivery to our clients directly from us. This has also allowed us to add a new division of designer services. We deliver and assemble furniture for commercial and residential interior designers from all over.
